Town Hall for HOPE

While it’s generally agreed the news in our country is biased, even FOX News, still we tune in.  We need to know what’s going on.

An international traveller I met recently told me they read one newspaper online and listen to one news station – online.  The first is from South Africa and the other from Australia.  Why?  It’s the only source of straight-out newscasting they’d found.   I didn’t get the URLs so I’m still looking for them.

Are you as tired of the gloom and doom economic news every day?  I, as many, suspect there’s an unwritten —or undisclosed— agenda out there and the news is one part of the plan to move our country toward predetermined ends, and our so-called recession is one part of the larger plan.

I’m tired of hearing the fear, doom and gloom that’s filling the airwaves. If anybody has a perspective on this whole thing that’s worth hearing, Dave Ramsey does.  My wife and I are going to attend the nationwide town hall meeting Dave is hosting to discover what’s happening with the economy, how we got here, and where we’re going.

I’m eager to hear what Ramsey has to say at Townhall for HOPE Thursday night.  Dave dares to think for himself.  He’s warm and inviting.  While he doesn’t go around picking fights, he’s got backbone.  I like to think of him as having strength, well-founded views, and a winsome smile that makes it easier to hear something outside my normal boundaries.

Thursday night he’s going to address all who will take the time to hear, talking about our current financial situation in America and what we can do about it.  I’m confident we’ll hear things we’d never hear on the news. I know I’m going to be encouraged.  I’m ready, anybody else ready?

Go to  Townhall for HOPE, find a location near you – it’s free.  Tell them you’re coming.  I’m going to take a notepad with me, to jot down things I’ll want to remember.  If you’re married, be sure you BOTH go.  I’m ready for some good news for a change.  Are you?
