Proverbs 11
The contrast continues . . .
In light of this week’s news in America’s entertainment industry verse19 stood out to me today:
He who is steadfast in righteousness will attain to life,
And he who pursues evil will bring about his own death.
How many times has history illustrated this concept?!
Lord God, sustain in me a hunger and thirst for your righteousness that results in a long and fruitful life – for the sake of Your name.

So… it looks like I will be continuing to read your Proverbs posts as often as you write them. It makes a good end to the day for me.
Part of my Bible reading plan is to read one chapter in Proverbs and 5 Psalms every day. Totally doable, and it puts these two amazing parts of Scripture before my eyes every month. It’s virtually impossible for my heart to be unimpacted by such a habit!
Because I am on a night schedule, I end up reading each chapter between midnight and 6 am that morning. And if you write, there’s a good chance that your post will be up before I go to bed. So… it’s perfect, really. 🙂
Anyway… thanks for sharing your insights and the things that are impacting you in the word.
Oh yeah… this post… very relevant. I like the way that you tied it in with what is happening in the news.
Wow. That was a long comment. Oops!
😀 That wasn’t too long – (should see some of mine when I get going!) so it’s OK. Besides, we don’t pay any extra for long comments here on WordPress; feel free.
