Mission & Vision
The Vibrance Community Mission & Vision
My (Phil’s) Mission
I am a visionary equipper who:
Trusts God, the Source and Sustainer of all I steward, as I live out His design for my life.
Helps people discover their purpose & the clarity that accompanies it.
Leads and guides with quiet confidence and intentional focus.
My Vision
I serve as a teacher and equipper within the body of Christ, helping people worship God authentically, discover their purpose, and live out their faith with confidence.
Leading with understanding and discernment, I guide others with wisdom, compassion, and trust.
I communicate truth with clarity so people can understand, apply, and multiply what they’ve received.
I create experiences that edify, inspire, and fulfill, bringing excellence and joy to those I serve.
I lead and guide with calm confidence & intentional focus, grounded in and faithful to God’s Word.
My work begins in prayerful obedience and extends outward as God directs. Trusting Him as
the source and sustainer of all I build (actually, we build Psalms 127.1-2) I serve Him wholeheartedly
and without fear. I encourage others to measure success by contribution, not accumulation, multiplying their influence through intentional investment in those they know.
It’s a disciple-making legacy of faithful impact.
My Core Values
Purposeful Intentionality
I am here to equip and prepare God’s people for works of service for the benefit of the body of Christ… unity, maturity, completeness.
Ephesians 4.11-16, 2. Timothy 2.2
Trust
Implicit trust in God for everything, every need.
Philippians.4.19, 1 Peter 5.7, Hebrews 2.10-15, 11.6, Ephesians 3.20-21
Prayer
Always. In everything. Confidently dependent on God.
1 Peter 5.5-10, Acts 2.42
Abiding in Christ
Drawing from the Vine my every supply. Accepting that He takes responsibility for my fruitfulness, mine is to draw my life from Him, ever, only, always.
John 15
Obedient Living
Living as a friend of Jesus, obeying His commands, constantly staying in touch with Him.
John 14.15, 15.14, James 1.25
Skillful Teaching for life-change
It’s my responsibility, and it’s my privilege.
But if nothing happens in the lives of my students, I’m off the mark.
2 Timothy 2.2, Matthew 28.20, 1 Peter 5.1-4, James 3.1-2, 17-18.
Effective writing – also for life-change
I enjoy when my words say it just right. I rejoice when something from my pen encourages someone to do the right thing or helps someone through a difficult place in life.
My words are positive whenever possible, forthright when necessary,
always gentle, & lighthearted because joy is wonderful.
Hebrews 10.24, 1 Timothy 1.5, Philemon 1.21, Jude 1.3, 2 John 1.12, 3 John 1.13-14,
Proverbs – so much in Proverbs about words.
