If you would not be forgotten …

I found a fuller version of a favorite quote recently and it sparked some thought, and then this article over on Linked In.  (Linked In will soon be offering the ability to post content to all, I’m one of the guinea pigs/early testers)

Benjamin Franklin said:

If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead,
either write something worth reading or do things worth writing.

I’d seen the last half, but not the first.  I penned some thoughts about it; come join the discussion, or make a comment here. What do YOU think?
