He Is So Great…
Okay, folks, I’m turning to you for help in filling in some blanks in a song I’ve been singing the last couple of days; it’ll help if you’re over forty, and like traditional sacred music. 😀 (Well it will!)
In the late 70’s a talented young tenor by the name of Kent Walters sang this song near the end of his Senior Recital. After being in hibernation all this while, it emerged a couple of days ago and I’ve been singing it to myself this week.

In regards to “He is so great,” I am looking for the name of the songwriter and the publisher. I have this song a a new piano album that I want to give to my family, friends and nieghbors. I learned the song from a friend who I have sung with for many years but I have never seen any music sheets. If you like, I can call him in Minneapolis and I’m sure he has or remembers all the words.
